“When criticized, consider for one moment that they might be right.”

NATIONAL DUDLEY ON CRITICISM
The true maturation of a person is to have the ability to realize ones’ imperfections.
We all hate to be wrong, yet we all have space for improvement. To learn, we first must listen to the perspectives of others to gain a holistic view of how to make things better. When criticized, step out of your personal feelings and think of the context in which the information is being delivered. Then use your discernment to progress.
Understand that all decisions can be criticized whether the outcome is positive or negative but growth takes place when others are considered. Whether your critic is a boss, spouse, or child take their perspective in good nature and be willing to challenge yourself. I grow, not by chance, but by the ability to own and correct my imperfections.
