NATIONAL DUDLEY ON WORK THAT MATTERS
I’ve seen first hand what it looks like for the world to make room. I’ve been in the meeting where the work mattered so much that no wasn’t even in the conversation. The conversation was how quickly.
A few years ago, I had used my position within hospital C-suites to introduce a non-profit called Meet Justice Medical. Their research indicated that victims of human trafficking only hit institutional checkpoints within healthcare environments and a 30 minute training for nurses could teach them to identify victims quickly.
The issue was VERY new then and everyone took the meeting. Despite accreditation deadlines, rising costs and falling reimbursements, the world made room for nurses to identify and extract these victims.
There have been other instances where the world has made room for me. What are some that come to mind for you?
