Mattress Firm Closures + Healthcare Gaps
Mattress Firm filled for Chapter 11 bankruptcy on October 5th and announced that they would be closing 209 stores immediately. Many of these stores would make great medical offices so we’ve created a map that pinpoints these locations and compares them to gaps in healthcare service. These site are most often located in high traffic areas and are end-caps or freestanding buildings that are sized for a primary care practice, dental practice, or urgent care facility.
