“Alas for those that never sing, but die with all their music in them!”
– Oliver Wendell Holmes Sr.

NATIONAL DUDLEY ON GETTING OUR MUSIC OUT
If there was ever a man who defied the concept of being good at one thing and letting it define your life, it was Oliver Wendell Holmes Sr.
He was a lawyer, a doctor and a very popular medical lecturer in college, but he was a great writer. The man created poems and works that others in more formal positions might consider trite and inconsequential. Well remembered for these writings, this quote is a call to arms.
Don’t ignore the passions that drive you and in the end, we’re all better off around those who sing.
What would be a shame to die within you?
