For Bill, Homecoming is experiencing that peace that surpasses all understanding, at least until the kids get home.
Bill arrived at DTSpade with over 25 years of commercial real estate experience. After graduating from the University of Texas, Bill began his real estate career in Dallas. There he represented some of the nation’s largest institutional investors and crafted his real estate skills managing and leasing office and retail developments. Bill’s hard work provided him an opportunity to relocate to Atlanta, where he continued his work as a regional director leasing and supervising the operations of a portfolio of office, retail and industrial commercial properties. After spending years representing landlords and developers, Bill took those insights and began serving tenant/buyer clients looking to make excellent real estate decisions.
At DTSpade, Bill’s great work is serving as a Brokerage Partner, and anticipating his client’s needs and finding solutions, before they can surface as problems. Bill works with the rest of the DTSpade team to assess the current and future needs of our client’s facilities, uncover new locations that meet the demands of a client’s business, underwrite the financial implications of those opportunities, and keep clients informed about the ever-changing real estate industry and its impact on their bottom line.
When Bill comes down from his great work with us, he enjoys seeing the grin on his kids’ faces as they go flying down a steep hill riding their bikes through the neighborhood, flipping burgers on the grill while listening to Johnny Cash, or sitting on the back deck with his wife to gaze at stars just over the late night glow of the Atlanta office towers down the block. Not exactly Blue Ridge, but still a nice place to relax.
In case that is not enough, Bill:
- Earned his BBA from The University of Texas
- Holds his Certified Commercial Institute Member “CCIM” designation
- Obtained his brokerage license in Georgia, North Carolina, & South Carolina
- Is an active member with the Atlanta Commercial Board of Realtors and International Council of Shopping Centers
- Served as Board Advisor for Brookhaven Innovation Academy, a non-profit, project based learning state charter school
