To Brian, Homecoming is a Party of Five in our Marriott bed at night; the smell of the grass on a baseball field; doing 25 knots on the Atlantic Ocean racing toward the horizon as the sun rises in front of you.

Brian arrived at DTSpade by way of a baseball diamond and a 15 year climb up the real estate ladder.  He was lucky enough to play professional baseball after graduating from the University of Virginia.  Brian spent time in the minor league organizations of the Toronto Blue Jays and the Montreal Expos (now Washington Nationals) making it to the AA level.  After retiring at the old age of 27, he began he career in commercial real estate with a boutique tenant representation firm outside of Philadelphia.  Brian worked for GVA Smith Mack and Grubb & Ellis which were both bought by Newmark Knight Frank and Colliers International.  He has also spent some time in the commercial real estate tech industry as Philadelphia’s market leader for a start-up out of Chicago.  Most recently, he started his own brokerage firm, Sherlock Realty Advisors, before joining Dudley Thomas Spade.

Brian looks forward to giving my forever 7-year-old daughter Kayden the biggest hug ever in Heaven (but only after I’m old and gray).

AT DTSpade, Brian’s great work is making everyone around him a better person and a better teammate.  With the utmost integrity and ethics, his clients will get the best out of him daily.  Brian will be overseeing the Philadelphia market for DTSpade and all things with which that includes.

When he comes down from his great work with us, playing sports in the backyard with his 5 year-old son or pretending he’s Lightning McQueen with his 3 year-old son. Brian enjoys taking out the driver on a par 5 as well as sitting on a boat enjoying that salty air.

In case that’s not enough, Brian has also accomplished the following:

  • Licensed Real Estate Broker in Pennsylvania and New Jersey
  • BA in Psychology from The University of Virginia (1998)
  • Co-Founded Kayden’s Korner Foundation, Inc. (a 501c3 non-profit) with my beautiful wife
  • 2015 Colliers Philadelphia – Most Outsourced Closed Deals
  • 2008 Real Estate New Jersey Publication – Commercial Broker All-Star
  • 1999 Medicine Hat Blue Jays – Leadership Award
  • 1998 University of Virginia Baseball MVP; Team Captain
  • 4-year letter winner – Baseball – University of Virginia
