To Zach, Homecoming is being with his wife and son, whether it is watching a good movie together, sitting riverside (or in the river) in the mountains of western North Carolina, or the three of them exploring something new, near or far.

Zach arrived at DTSpade by way of having spent nearly 20 years as a supplier and vendor in the hardware/home improvement industry, centered around manufacturing and distribution.  During this time, he was a successful sales executive and sales manager working for four premier, multi-national manufacturers as well as a leading manufacturers’ representative firm. Zach’s customers spanned the continuum from big box retailers to independents, coops to eCommerce, warehouse clubs, and mass merchandise chains.  His professionalism, adaptability, grit, and tenacity in a dynamic, fast-paced, and competitive environment, allowed him to have great success.

After deciding that the time had arrived to be bold and have faith to make a change both professionally and personally, Zach became a licensed commercial real estate broker in late 2018.  Following the opportunity to spend time at two Atlanta-based brokerages, Zach was fortunate to be welcomed into the DTSpade family in early 2020.

Zach believes that everything great is on the other side of fear.

At DTSpade, Zach’s great work is engaging connections!  His mission is to use the power of commercial real estate and personal relationships to satisfy his Client’s quadruple bottom line of People, Profit, Planet, and Progress.  Zach strives to be the consummate consultant and fiduciary for his Clients, maximizing the value and potential that each of his Clients should be getting from their commercial real estate.  With an obsession and eye for detail, his hyper-analytical go-market strategy, and an ability to methodically and creatively source opportunities organically from the ground up, he strives to deliver his clients with a successful outcome, a completed transaction, and an enduring relationship.  His commitment to the pursuit of attaining a high standard of performance, driving continuous improvement, and building trust are at the heart of anything in which he involves himself.

Although Zach can help to serve and support those with any assignment, he specializes in industrial/flex product representing tenants.

When he comes down from his great work with us, he resides in East Cobb (Georgia) with his wife and son.  He is a man devoted to God and is a member of Mt. Bethel United Methodist Church in Marietta, GA.  He volunteers his time with local youth lacrosse programs. Zach enjoys being with his family, mountain biking, any and all activity on the water, over-engineering home projects, perpetually organizing and spending time in Cashiers, NC, and the Western Carolina mountains and rivers.
